John Jordan is President of BusinesSuites, which provides office and virtual office services through 20 executive suite locations around the country. John has been involved in the office business center industry since 1997 and currently serves as president of the Global Workspace Association, the industry’s primary trade association.
John’s leadership style centers on hiring great people, giving them the right tools and then providing them with the freedom to succeed. In fact, that mantra of “providing the freedom to succeed” is the mission of BusinesSuites, and it applies to how the company treats its employees and to the value that it delivers to its clients. BusinesSuites provides employees the freedom to succeed by treating them like business owners with all the information, authority and responsibility that entails. For clients, the freedom to succeed means they can focus on growing their business without having to worry about their office.
Under John’s leadership, BusinesSuites has become a leader in the office business center industry, growing from a single location in 1989 to 20 locations today. In 2009, BusinesSuites was named the US national winner of the Dell/NFIB Small Business Excellence Award, and was listed in the 2010 Inc 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in the US. In 2010, BusinesSuites became a founding member of the Preferred Office Network, which offers no-risk, no-term agreements for corporate clients of executive business centers around the country.
John has also served in financial and business development roles in commercial lending and private equity, and served on several non-profit boards including Texas 4000. John has both bachelors and masters degrees in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin, where he also served as an instructor in entrepreneurial finance for six years.
